Instructor: Full Earth Farm Instructor Bio: Katie Harris and Aaron Suko started Full Earth Farm in the fall of 2009 on family land in the Florida panhandle. With guidance from mentors Herman Holley and Louise Divine of Turkey Hill Farm, Full Earth has grown from a half acre garden to a five acre diversified vegetable Farm. Full Earth has been Certified Naturally Grown, a grass roots alternative to USDA organic certification, since 2010 and strictly follows organic growing practices. Katie, along with three other women in agriculture, is a founding member of the Red Hills Small Farm Alliance and is currently serving on the board of directors. Katie and Aaron worked to start the first CRAFT (Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training) chapter in Florida spring 2019 as an educational piece of the Red Hills Small Farm Alliance mission.

Starting in the winter of 2020 Full Earth fulfilled a long time dream of growing and fermenting vegetables for sale! Full Earth is now offering seasonal sauerkraut, kimchi and fermented hot sauce for sale. If all goes well there may be more fermented goodies in the pipeline.

Katie and Aaron are passionate about growing healthy food and feeding their community. They work together to keep the cogs turning, constantly looking for ways to improve. They see food as a means of bringing people of all walks of life together.
